O Tulum

Let’s do this one at a time. My boyfriend and I had a great time here. The service is really good as the staff is very friendly. But the place could use some updating, like the rooms, and common areas, pools. The location is a little bad. It’s far on an off road type of street and the road isn’t paved. Took us so long just to get to the hotel from the highway. If they fix that it would be much better. Other than that, it’s a quaint and lovely spot, I would return for sure.

If you come to the hotel by taxi you're fine to be left there. The restaurant is deserving of a Michelin Star, and for the quality of food you're getting, it is very reasonably priced. The road to the hotel is in its natural state, but as we noticed as we were leaving, they were setting up materials to repair the giant holes. If you're coming to Tulum to party, this is not the hotel for you. O'Tulum is perfect for couples over 30 or really any adult looking to rest and relax someplace quiet. I'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was welcoming and so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our time and wish we had longer to enjoy all the pools and the ocean.

Oh Tulum is a charming beachfront hotel offering direct beach access and lovely pools, perfect for a relaxing getaway. This was such a beautiful spot on the ocean, there’s only 12 rooms and creates such a cozy atmosphere. The concierge, Danny was always so friendly and accommodating. He had awesome recommendations for local spots we wouldn’t have found without him. He genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay which made our trip so much more special. I totally recommend this spot, their food is great, the staff in the kitchen were always on point and the rooms were always spotless.

The hotel in itself is amazing, great rooms and nice pools. However, the location is pretty bad because of the road that is so damaged and the lack of restaurants around. Therefore you always need to take a taxi for at least 40 min to go to a good restaurant. Because the road was so bad, a taxi even dropped us off in the middle of the night on this damaged road and wanted to make us pay 1200 pesos (we were departing from Tulum beach more in the south so not that far).

The hotel itself is actually quite good, with a great view, pools and very comfortable bedrooms. The huge issue is its location, not only is it pretty far from the good parts of Tulum, the taxi are also very expensive, and worst of all the road to get to the hotel is the absolute worst road I have ever seen in my life. It is so bad that one of our taxis bringing us back (for an already horribly expensive price) refused to continue midway through, tried to make us pay double, and threatened to have the police come and arrest us if we did not pay double. We eventually managed to get out of the taxi by paying him more than originally agreed, and had to walk 20 minutes in the dark. The taxi number was 1144, avoid him at all cost

Magical quiet getaway from the party and loud vibrations of the hotel zoneria. Hotel is beautifully situated on the water, expansive views and plenty of seating and dipping pools. Situated on a natural reef, hotel provides shoes and walking distance and access to beach. Staff is incredible and accommodating. Plenty of parking or arranged pick up can be made, suggest rental, terrain to hotel area is in a natural state so be careful driving over holes. Resident cats salsa and mole are warm and inviting too! Rooms clean comfortable. Eat at the restaurant, staff is friendly food excellent. Plenty of cenotes or arranged tours can be made through staff.
